The West Bengal Higher Education Department awards this scholarship to deserving candidates who have secured at least 60% in their previous examination. This SVMCM Scholarship, also known as Bikash Bhavan Fellowship, is awarded to candidates who have secured at least 60% in their final board examination.

Eligibility Criteria

HS Students
SVMCM Scholarship 2024 is available to candidates who have passed the Madhyamik Exam with or at least 60%, and taken admission in Higher Secondary (10+2) courses.
Students in Undergraduate Program
The candidate must achieve at least 60% in the aggregate. Bikash Bhavan scholarship is open to candidates who have passed the HS Examination and are enrolled into the first year of an undergraduate course in engineering/ medical/ general education/ GNM nursing/ paramedical diploma course in 2024.
Candidates who have passed the Diploma Course in 2024 in relevant fields from Government of West Bengal Polytechnic Colleges (with a minimum of 75%) will be also eligible to register.
Students with a Diploma
Candidates who have taken admission to 2nd year Diploma (Polytechnic), on a lateral entry basis after passing the Madhyamik exam 2024, or VOCLET Exam and are currently enrolled in a first year Diploma course will be considered for this scholarship. To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must have attained 60% in their qualifying exam.
Postgraduate Students
Candidates must obtain at least 53% marks in Honours subjects at the UG level in or 55% marks for Graduation level Engineering candidates in the year 2024 who are enrolled in the first year class of Post Graduate course in General Education/Engineering, are eligible to register.
Kanyashree K3 Scholarship Eligibility
The Kanyashree Recipients with a valid K2 ID sanctioned by the State who wish to pursue postgraduate courses at Universities within this State, in regular mode (and NOT distance), and must have obtained 45% of their graduation marks aggregately from these Institutions during 2024. The Kanyashree (K3) applicants are not required to submit a certificate of income or an income affidavit. This scholarship is available to those who do not method a K2 Id.
Family Annual Income Limit

Step 1: For Online Application of Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means (SVMCM) Scholarship 2024, visit the official Application portal,. This website is the only place to submit your application. Registration Click Here.
Step 2: A page of details will now open. Read this carefully, then tick the Tick Box. Then click the method with the Registration Button.
Step 3: Choose the Directorate in the Registration choose that best matches your current program and then click the ” Register For Fresh Application” button.

Step 4: After registering yourself, please give your Name and Email. You can also enter your Phone Number or Date of Birth. Also, you need to create a Password. This will be required for Login into your Dashboard.
Step 5: Please follow the steps below. After successfully registering, you’ll get an Application Id. The Application ID is needed for both login purposes as well as other functions. Take note of it and use it in the future.

Step 6: Click on the ‘Edit Profile/Application/strong>’ option to add your details information regarding this Swami Vivekananda Scholarship program. After clicking on the Edit Application option, you can add information about your application for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Scheme.
Step 7: Fill out the application with all your information including your qualification exam, your current course and your address. You can also upload your Photo, and Signature. Click on Save & Next To move onto the next step.
Step 8: You will now upload to the Online Application Portal the scanned copies of the documents listed below. This is for the purpose of verification. Below is a list of documents.

- The admit card of the final qualifying examination.

Step 9: After uploading the required documents, you will need to save the file and review the application again. Click on the Finalize the Application> option in order to submit the SVMCM Scholarship form. You cannot make any changes to your application after Final Submit.
Unlock by HOI’s end: Once the application has been submitted, it will no longer be possible to make changes. If there are any modifications needed after the submission of an application, then applicants can approach the concerned HOI to unlock it. They will then be able edit all the details of their application.

Visit the Head of Institution (HOI), of your institution (school, college or university) and ask him/her for the unlocking of your SVMCM scholarship application. (You must carry your Application ID with you). The HOI will unlock the application.
You can now log into the SVMCM Scholarship Portal using your Application ID and password. Make sure you correct, update any errors and double check the application. Now, submit the completed application form.
