WB OASIS Scholarship 2024: Eligibility Criteria
These eligibility requirements must be met by candidates who want to register for the OASIS Scholarship 2024.
- Candidates from SC and ST and OBC categories can only register for OASIS scholarships online.
- Candidates should be residents of West Bengal.
- Candidates annual household income cannot exceed Rs 2,5 lakh The annual family income of the candidates does not exceed Rs 1 lakh per annum ).

WB OASIS Scholarship 2024: Payment
West Bengal Government give OASIS Scholarships 2024 to SC and ST and OBC candidates pursuing higher education. The choose of candidates for this scholarship will depend on their financial situation and merit. The following payment will be pay directly to the bank account of eligible candidates.
Pre Matric Students of Class 9th and 10th
- The scholarship payment for Pre Matric 9th and 10 day Scholars will be Rs 150 per monthly and Rs 750 each month.
- Pre Matric Ad Hoc Grant for Day Scholars is Rs 750, and Hostellers are given Rs 1000 each year.
Post Matric Students
- Candidates for Post Matric Engineering, Medical, B.Sc. (Agriculture), LLM, M.Phil, PhD will be pay Rs 1200 per month (for day scholars) or Rs 550 per month (for hostellers).
- Candidates who have complete their B.Sc. Nursing, B.Pharm or LLB degree will be pay Rs 820 per month (for the Hosteller) and Rs 530 for Day Scholars on a bank account.
- Candidates who get the Post Matric Scholarship (Honours students) will be entitled to Rs 750 per month (for day scholars) and Rs 300 for Hostellers.
Post Matric Students in UG and PG
- The post matric Engineering, Medical and B.Sc. (Agriculture), LLM, M.Phil, PhD candidates get Rs 1200 per month (for day scholars) and Rs 550 for hostsellers.
- Candidates who have completed their B.Sc. Nursing, B.Pharm and LLB degree will be pay Rs 820 per month (for the Hosteller) and Rs 530 for Day Scholars on a bank account.
- Candidates who get the Post Matric Scholarship (Honours candidate) will be entitled to Rs 750 per month (for day scholars) and Rs 300 for Hostellers.
Diploma students (Post-Matriculation)
- Scholarships are available to candidates who study in Polytechnics, ITIs and Class 11th and 12th. The scholarship payment per month will be Rs 750 for Hostellers and Rs 230 for Day Scholars.
SC ST OBC Scholarship Online Application Process
Online site will allow you to submit your application for the WB OASIS Scholarship 2024. This page will explain how to easily and quickly register for this Scholarship.
Student Register
Firstly, you need to go to the official OASIS Scholarship Application Portal www.oasis.gov.in. Next, choose the candidates Registration. The Fresh Candidate can then register through this method for the SC and ST and OBC scholarships.
Select the District for your Application
You will now be able to choose the district in which your school is located. Candidates studying out of West Bengal should choose their district. From the server of that district, you will access your OASIS Scholarship Online 2024 application.
Enter Caste Certificate Details
Then you will need to fill in your Name, Father Name and Certificate of Computerised Caste. Certificate Manual does not accept. You can now click on the submit button. Your application must be verified according to the details on your Caste Certificate.
Update Basic
Update your Phone number and email on the next page. Also, update Date of Birth and Sub Caste. At this page you will also need to add a Scanned Photograph. The OASIS Scholarship registration is now complete. Submit the page.
Download Acknowledgement

Fill in the application Form
Once you have successfully logged in, the rest of the form is complete. You can fill out all of the details required by clicking the “Further information” button. It is main to include your institution information, communication address and other details.
Add Bank Account Details
Next, enter the bank account information that you want to get your scholarship. (Bank name and account number and IFSC and MICR) . Next, choose the Verify and Lock Option. If you select to lock the information of your account, they cannot be edited.
Print and Download the Application
Download the PDF by clicking on the Print Application Button. Then print the document. This will be an application filled with all information. This printed application will include all of the details you entered during the online application.
Sign the Application Form on paper and include these documents.

- A certified copy of the Caste Certificate
- A certified copy of the mark sheet from your last examination.
- The first page of your bank passbook.
Submitting the application form
You must submit your application to the BDO Office in charge of Block Area after completing these steps. PO Cum DWO and DWO for Municipality and Corporation Area on or before February 2025.

- The Acknowledgement Copy must be signed and submitted to the BDO or Municipal Office.
The scholarship will be credited into the bank account after all documents have been successfully verified for the Fresh Candidates and the Renewal Candidates. This will take approximately 6 and 8 months.
