UP Scholarship Status 2024: Eligibility Criteria

You must be eligible to participate in the program by meeting the criteria below:

• Applicants must be Uttar Pradesh residents and have a valid domicile certificate issued by a competent authority.
• The applicant should apply in one of the colleges and schools of the State.
• To be eligible for a scholarship in the pre matric category 9th and 10th, you must either be studying class 9th and 10th.
• UP Scholarship Post matriculation candidates need to have completed class 10th and be enrolled into class 11th and 12th.

• Scholarships after matriculation: Families must have an annual income below Rs 2 lakhs rupees.
• The family annual income from all sources, including the scholarship for the 12th grader, should not be more than Rs 2 lakhs.
• The annual income of all categories must not be more than Rs 1 lakh.

• The UP Scholarship is available to all applicants, regardless of their caste. General, OBC, SC, ST.
• The scholarship is not open to candidates from colleges that are on the blacklist. The blacklisted colleges are Chaudhary Babulal Institute of Technology and Management in Hathras: Excellence College of Professional Studies in Meerut and Shri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology Baghpat.
• Candidates should attach the hardcopy photocopy of their bank account book with the application.
• The candidates must personally submit their application to the concerned department and collect the receipt.
