Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must a member of a schedule caste and must have complete Class 12th.
- The candidate should enrol in full time course in a modifiable institution, subject to the general eligibility criteria prescribe by the respective institution.
- Students’ families should earn less than 8.4 lakh per year from all sources.
- Students from Scheduled Castes (SC)
- Indian citizens
- The benefits of the program are limited to 2 or fewer siblings per family.
- Scholar is not eligible for any other scholarship.
- IIMs, IITs, IIITs, AIIMSs, NITs, NIFTs, NIDs, IHMs, NLUs and all other central government institution are eligible.
Amount of Scholarship
NSP Scholarships are awarded to students who fulfil all the following criteria:
Full tuition fee plus non-refundable fees (the maximum tuition fee in private schools may charge up to RS. 2,00,000).
The academic allowance is Rs. 41,000 each additional year for living expenses, stationery and books, a computer/laptop with peripherals such as printer and UPS and other accessories.

- Certificate of earnings
- Certificate of residence
- The self-certified grade sheet/diploma of the last examination passed
- Receipt for the fees for the current semester
- Bank account details of parents/guardians.
- Aadhaar card
- Bonafide certificate from the school/institution
- Recent passport size color photograph
- Caste certificate
- Declaration Certificate (issued either by the Head of Department of an Institute or University or any other competent authority).
Online Apply
- Online scholarship application (National Scholarship Portal).
- Prepare the documents in soft copy form.
- Visit the Official Website and click on the new application.
- Scroll down to see the registration guidelines. Scroll down to the bottom.
- Please read and accept all the terms and conditions. Please click on ‘Continue’ to proceed.
- The registration form (fields with an * must be completed) will now be displayed.
- Click on ‘Register’ and enter your details.
- You will now see your login ID (ID) and password.
- You will receive an SMS to your mobile phone number.
- Go to the official website.
- Enter your login ID and password. Your application ID and password are required.
- Click on Login.
- You will be diverted to the password reset page. The password reset page is displayed.
- Create a password and confirm it.
- After you have click on ‘Submit’, you will be redirect to the ‘Applicant Dashboard’. Click on ‘Submit’.
- Click on the ‘Application form’ on the left-hand side (fields with an * are mandatory).
- Upload your documents and enter all the details.
- To finalize your application, you can click on ‘Save as draft’.
- Otherwise, click on ‘Final Submit’ to submit your application.
