Eklavya Scholarship 2024: Eligibility, Documents, and Deadline

There is good news for Maharashtra state resident. The Maharashtra Government has launched an Eklavya Scholarship program for all deserving candidate. It is open to candidate study science,art arts, commerce and Law.

candidate must only study an proper course at a Maharashtra school and college and university that is government recognized and government funded. Applying for Eklavya Scholarship 2024 will be done online.

Purpose of Scholarship

After complete their graduation many candidate wish to pursue post graduate course, but are not able to do so because of poor financial condition. This is why the Maharashtra Directorate of Higher Education has lounch a new scholarship scheme called Eklavya Scholarship to address this issue. In this scheme, financial assistance is provide to candidate of the state so that they can pursue higher education without worry about financial difficulty.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to understand the eligibility criteria, candidate should pay attention to the following point:

1. As first requirement, the candidate must reside permanently in Maharashtra.
2. It is required that candidate have passed their graduation course with a minimum of 60 percent.
3. A student’s family income must be less than 75 thousand rupees per year.
4. Maharashtra based school and college are eligible to apply.
5.  There should be no part time and full time work for recipient.

Scholarship Amount

In the event that candidate are select after complete the application procedure for this scholarship from the state of Maharashtra. They will receive a one time financial benefit of Rs. 5000.

5. Choose “Eklavya Scholarship”.
6. You can now apply by clicking the Login to Apply button.
7. If you haven’t already registered, choose “New Applicant Registration”.
8. You will be presented with the registration form.
9. Attach the necessary documents to the form.
10. Once all your documents have been attached, select “Submit.”.
