Swami Dayanand Scholarship 2024-25: Apply Online, Eligibility and Deadline

The Charitable Education Foundation start the Merit cum Mean Swami Dayanand for 2024 and 2025. The scholarship is open to candidate at public and private university in India who are currently enrol in undergraduate program. A primary objective of SDEF is to give scholarships to exceptionally gift, but financially disadvantage candidate who cannot complete their college education due to financial barrier.

The scholarship program offers financial support to candidates who have overcome challenges related to their family situation to achieve high rankings on the national and state level common entrance exams and gain admission to prestigious universities. New scholarship applications will only be accepted from those candidates who are in their first and second year of engineering or medicine. Candidates studying in BSc and BA and B Com can only register for SDEF scholarships if they are in their first year of study.

The Swami Dayanand Education Foundation started the Swami Dayanand Scholarship 2024 in 2015 in order to boost the potential of candidates. The scholarship give financial benefits of INR 50,000 to INR 200,000 per year to around 200 socially backward candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates interested in register for the scholarship must meet the eligibility criteria below :

1. An Indian permanent resident must register.
2. First year candidate should be 19 years old, and second year candidate should be 20 year old.
3. The minimum requirement for Class 12 is 80% in CBSE or 70% in other boards for fresher (1st year).
4. The maximum drop period for technical courses is one year
5. Engineering and Architecture courses must have an All India Overall Rank less than 90,000, while medical program must have an Overall Rank less than 40,000
6. Candidates enrolled in continuous courses (2nd year) must have a CGPA of at least 8.0
7. It is needed for the applicant family income to be less than INR 8 lakh per annum.
8. A candidate must be enrolled in a government funded or government aided school in order to register.
