The Maharashtra Construction and Other Construction Worker Welfare Board and Government of Maharashtra implement the Mahabocw scholarship Program. This scholarship give financial support to candidate from INR 2500 up to INR 1 lakh per year. The Mahabocw scholarship was created for the children of construction workers. There are several types of scholarship available under this program, from first class to postgraduate.

Mahabocw Scholarship It is the main mission of this award to give higher education in Maharashtra for all children of workers who work on construction sites. The scholarship is designed to help candidates achieve their mission of higher education. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants required to reach certain criteria in order to apply.
- First, the candidates has to be a local of Maharashtra.
- A parent must work in construction.
- Age of construction workers must range between 18 and 60 years.
- You must have enrolled at a recognized school and university and college. (Class 1st to 12th Degree Course and Degree In Medicine and Degree In Engineering).
- In class from 8th to 10th, candidates must attend at least 75 and more of the class.
- Applicants in class 10th to 12th must reach a minimum 50% and higher.
- Forming workers who worked more than 90 days during the past 12 months

Benefits
- The payment is INR 2,500 for candidates studying from class 1st to 7th.
- The INR 5000 will be Provide to candidates studying in class 8th to 10th.
- Applicants in 10th by 12th grades can get INR 10000.
- The amount is INR 10000 for applicants in class 11th to 12th.
- The amount is INR 20,000 for applicants pursuing undergraduate degree.
- Medical candidates will get INR 1 lakh.
- The candidates who have an engineering degree can receive up to INR 60,000
- For government recognized degrees. For degrees recognized by the government.
- The government will pay INR 25,000 per annum to a person with a recognized Master degree.
- Fees for MS CIT education of two children when a construction worker is applying.
Note: The scholarship Amount will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of all candidates who correctly apply.

This scholarship application portal is open but the last date for applications have not yet been announced.
Application Online
- You can open the Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board website on your PC and Laptop and smartphone.
- Click or tap on the option “Construction worker claim online” when the page opens.
- Click on the box that appears when you click above. You will then see the following options: Update Claim and New Claim. Choose New Claim.
- Enter the registration number. (Construction employees must apply first online to get their registration number.
- Upload the documents including your 75% attendance, bonafide certificate, Aadhaar, self declaration and ration cards.
- Click the Submit button after you have uploaded the document.
- After clicking the Submit button you will get an acknowledgement number. Keep it handy for reference.

- To view the profile of a worker, you must log in online.
- You can review the status of your scholarship (Mahabocw Status review).
- Login and click the “Claim”option.
- View the Mahabocw scholarship status.
