Eligibility Criteria
When applying for a Vidyasiri scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
Step: 1
- Must be an India city and permanent resident in Karnataka.

Step: 2
- Candidate of the backward class who are not yet admit into a departmental and government fund candidate hostel but are enrol in a post matric course are eligible for Vidyasiri Food and Accommodation Scholarship Program.
Step: 3
- Candidate choose for the program will get a monthly allowance of INR 1500 each month, up to INR 15000 per year during the period of study, give that other condition are met. This payment is credite online to a candidate bank account in a core bank system bank.

- C) Candidate who are new and renew their study must obtain the mark below at the year exam of the year prior to qualify for this facility.

Non Eligibility
- Candidate who have take the same degree courses more than one time are ineligible. Admission to B Com follow B.A. M.A. After M.A. (Kannada, llb, after B.Ed ).
- This facility is not available to candidate who are enrol in a postgraduate course of medicine but have practise during their course.
- If you are eligible and have complete a Bachelor and Master degree and if you are enrol in a Professional and Technical Certificate and Diploma Course and are pursue specialize course at a university, then the benefit of this program is your. Candidate who change their course more than one time are ineligible.
- The program is only start to two boy from the same family. This restriction is not applicable to female.

Selection Process
The follow point will help you understand the various stage of registration for the scholarship.
- Candidate who are eligible to register for the SSP Software online can do so.
- This is the application method. Candidate must submit an online Application along with prescribe document, such as bank account number, IFSC code and caste and income certificate. Candidate must submit an application online along with the prescribe document (bank account number, IFSC code, caste certificate and income certificate, previous class mark cards) and then submit a hard copy of it to college.
- The College Principal, Inspection Officer at each level will examine the document and application. Document should sent to the concerne taluk welfare officer for backward class.
- The Welfare Officer for Taluk Backward Class will review, verify, and confirm online.
- The District Backward Class Welfare Officer will verify the information above.
- The attendance of choose candidate under the plan should 75%. Taluk Welfare Officer should post this information online. The college principal can obtain the need data and give it to them.
- Base on the budget for the year, and the mark and eligibility of candidate, the approval at the Taluk level should grant to candidate who are qualify under the Vidyasiri Meal and Hostel Facility.
- The final stage is to pay the sanction payment directly into your candidate bank account using Treasury 2 software.
