The Chief Minister of West Bengal Shri Mamata Banerjee has launche flagship program calle Nabanna Scholarship.
The relief fund scholarship will give to student pursue PG course from class 10th in state of West Bengal in North Bengal region of Bengal this scholarship is known as Uttar Kanya Scholarship and people of South Bengal call this scholarship Nabanna Scholarship.
Eligible student who complete scholarship application process will provide financial assistance of Rs.10,000 per year so that poor student can pursue higher education and provide facilities to them.

Eligibility Criteria
To complete the application process To start the application process the students must fulfill the eligibility criteria :
- The applicant must belong to and be a permanent resident of the state of West Bengal
- The student must should pursue his studies in any recognized institution of the State of West Bengal and the student should have passed his final examination from a recognized institution as well as West Bengal University
- Council for higher secondary 12th class degree with 50% marks. and with 60 percent marks are eligible for this scholarship
- Graduates need an aggregate score between 50 and 60 percent in each secondary examination Undergraduates require an aggregate GPA between 50 percent and 53 percent
- The annual family income of the student should be less than 1.20 INR in order to avail the scholarship.
