About Reliance Foundation Scholarship 2024
Launched by Nita Ambani on the anniversary of Dhirubhai Ambani’s death, the Reliance Foundation Scholarship is open to candidates pursuing UG and PG degrees at any Indian university or college. The application can be completed online at the official scholarship website. The scholarship amount is directly transferred to the student’s account after selection.
Around 5000 students in UG and PG programs benefit from the Reliance Scholarship 2024. Students enrolled in undergraduate courses receive up to Rs. 2 lakh, while students in the postgraduate program receive up to Rs. 6 lakh.

The primary goal of the Reliance Foundation Scholarship is to offer financial aid to talented and deserving students interested in fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial and Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Science and Engineering, Bioengineering, Mechatronics, Machine Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Production Engineering, Biotechnology, Biosciences, Medical Electronics, Pharmacology, Cyber Physical Systems, Manufacturing Engineering, and Automation. The scholarship supports students enrolled in UG and PG programs.

Eligibility Criteria
There are two sections: one for UG and another for PG. Below are the eligibility criteria:
UG Degree
- Must be an Indian resident.
- Must have at least 60% marks in 12th grade and be enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s program (e.g., B.Sc., Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, etc.).
- Household income should meet specified criteria.
PG Degree
- Must be an Indian resident.
- For the postgraduate scholarship, students should be in the first year of their PG program and have scored between 550 and 1000 on GATE or other relevant entrance exams.

Selection Process
- Online eligibility is required for all applicants.
- The test is 60 minutes long with 60 questions, covering verbal, numerical, and analytical abilities.
For UG:
- FIRST LEAD SELECTION: The application will be assessed based on a combination of academic information, aptitude test results and other personal and educational data.
For PG:
- Applications are evaluated by a panel of academicians and industry leaders.
- A webinar will prepare candidates for their interview.
- A panel of experts will conduct the interview virtually.
Last Date
The deadline for applications is 6 October 2024.
